Our Services: Education is a fundamental goal of what we do. We do not want to tell you what to do but rather give you the information to decide what works for you. That is why Michael and Jake regularly writes informational columns in the local newspaper and provides free CEU training for social workers in the community twice a year.
Estate Planning
We prepare Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, and Trusts (including Supplemental Needs Trust) to ensure your wishes are clear, documented, and in a legal format.
Medicaid Planning and Asset Protection
With their knowledge of the ever changing regulations, the attorneys strives to protect your assets in the event you need long-term care in the community or in a skilled nursing facility.
Financial Management
Attorneys Michael and Jake serve as the financial manager/fiduciary for those elders and disabled individuals who have no family member ready, willing, and able to serve. Both frequently serves as Power of Attorney, Trustee, and Conservator managing clients’ financial worlds.
Medicaid Applications
Our Medicaid Specialists, Estelle Stasz and Samantha Sullivan, process Medicaid applications for clients in long-term settings as well as for those in the community under the so-called Frail Elder Waiver Program. Medicaid is a supremely difficult agency to navigate. It is not for the faint of heart.
Probate and Estate Administration
We probate Wills and Administrations.
Guardianship and Conservatorship Petitions
We represent individuals and facilities pursuing guardianship or conservatorship of persons who can no longer make health, placement, and financial decisions for themselves and who have not previously designated a Power of Attorney or Health Care Proxy.
Care Management
Our Social Worker evaluates elders in the private setting, makes recommendations for care and placement, and assists with navigating community and facility-based care.
